These starter terms are written for an early Horizon launch. Review them before accepting real customers.

Using Horizon

Horizon is a study planning tool that helps students convert syllabus information into assignment lists, reminders, and exports. You must use Horizon responsibly and only upload materials you are allowed to use.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your login information secure and for activity that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact Horizon support.

AI Extraction Is Not Perfect

Horizon uses AI to identify assignment details from uploaded syllabi. The extracted information may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. You are responsible for checking Horizon's results against your official course materials, instructor announcements, and learning management system.

Subscriptions

Horizon offers a free plan and a paid Horizon Plus plan. The standard intended monthly price is $4.99 per month, with an early Founder Pricing offer of $3.79 per month. Horizon may also offer an annual upfront plan for $29 per year. Paid plan access depends on successful payment through Stripe.

Cancellation

Paid users can manage or cancel their subscription through the Stripe billing portal when available in the app. Cancellation affects future billing. Access may continue until the end of the current paid billing period unless Horizon or Stripe shows otherwise during checkout or billing management.

Refunds

Refund handling is described on the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Horizon may update that policy as the service matures.

Acceptable Use

• Do not upload illegal, harmful, or unauthorized content.
• Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer Horizon.
• Do not use Horizon to violate school, course, or platform rules.
• Do not share an account in a way that avoids plan limits.

Changes to Horizon

Horizon may change features, plan limits, pricing, or availability over time. When practical, important changes will be shown in the app or on the website.
